Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cardiology Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare catheterization lab, ensuring all major equipment is operational and performing quality control checks.
Collaborate with medical teams to ensure optimal patient care, serving as radiation safety representative during X-ray procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, hemodynamic measurements, and patient information.
Ensure appropriate aseptic techniques and adhere to patient safety and privacy standards.
Participate in patient transport and engage in unit-based councils and process improvement initiatives.
Train in and operate cath lab equipment such as imaging systems and hemodynamic monitors.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or related healthcare field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required for pediatric facilities.
State Licensure in Texas required, such as MRT or LMRT by TMB.
Preferred certifications: RCIS, RCES, RCS, ARRT, or RDMS in relevant specializations.
0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
