Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Pediatric Ambulatory Care to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and diabetes education to pediatric patients.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing Epic charting system.
- Administer insulin and other medications as prescribed for pediatric patients.
- Float between various UCSF units and facilities as needed.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diabetes management.
- Respond to in-basket messages and facilitate communication with families.
Qualifications
- BSN required; must hold a valid CA RN License.
- AHA BLS certification mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience, including diabetes education.
- Experience in ambulatory care settings preferred.
- EPIC charting system experience required.
- Covid-19 vaccine and booster required, with exemptions available for medical/religious reasons.
