Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, including those with acute care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery from surgeries such as shoulder repair and spinal surgery.
• Educate patients and their families on safe and effective exercise programs to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with medical teams to assess patient progress and adapt therapy plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress using Epic electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with therapeutic protocols and facility procedures to enhance patient safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• Current physical therapy license in the state of Texas, or compact licensure for incoming candidates.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute care or similar healthcare environments.
• Proficiency in using Epic or similar electronic charting systems.
• BLS certification as required for all direct patient caregivers.
• Experience working with a variety of patient diagnoses, including neurological and orthopedic conditions.
• Strong communication skills for patient and family education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
