Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3.
- Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications as required.
- Support and operate RT equipment including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP when necessary.
- Read, interpret, and document telemetry monitor strips.
- Collaborate with healthcare aides and support staff to ensure patient needs are met.
- Adhere to hospital policies including a pass/fail exam requirement for orientation.
Qualifications
- Current RN license and ability to work within the state of Nebraska.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or relevant experience.
- Must hold certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
- Ability to work every other weekend and a minimum of two holidays per contract.
- Compliance with facility-specific policies, including fingernail and scheduling protocols.
