Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care for patients in a fast-paced Telemetry unit, maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and interpret telemetry data to deliver timely, effective care.
• Administer and titrate medications such as Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin drips according to physician orders.
• Complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes, ensuring sterile technique.
• Float to telemetry units and overflow areas as required, providing coverage for holidays and weekends per unit needs.
• Document patient information and progress using the Cerner electronic medical records system.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the ability to become licensed in Arizona.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, with a strong preference for candidates with neuro experience.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center with telemetry and acute care expertise.
• Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation, with the ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance.
• Able to complete SIMs Lab training with a focus on maintaining sterile technique and perform necessary nursing tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a high turnover, high acuity environment.
