Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Pediatric OR to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to pediatric patients undergoing surgery.
- Assist with scrubbing and circulating in pediatric ophthalmology cases.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and surgical protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Float to other UCSF facilities as needed to provide coverage and support.
Qualifications
- Current CA RN license in good standing.
- BLS & PALS certifications from AHA.
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric OR experience.
- Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating ophthalmology, general surgery, and orthopedic cases.
- Previous travel nursing experience and ability to adapt to different facilities.
- Teaching hospital experience required, with modules completed pre-start.
