Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-screening and orientation including pass-fail skills assessments for critical skills like catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.
• Ensure compliance with the 50-mile radius rule and role-specific hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage high-acuity patients, especially in cardiac and trauma cases.
• Float between ICUs and Telemetry units as needed, and provide care for a range of critical care diagnoses.
• Maintain sterile field and uphold quality nursing practices in high-pressure environments.
• Work rotating weekends and holidays as part of the care team to ensure continuous patient care coverage.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Arizona or eligibility for endorsement.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience in a Level I Trauma facility preferred.
• Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation; must pass related exams before assignment.
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); CCRN preferred.
• Strong intravenous skills and ability to handle high-acuity cases independently.
• Comfortable with floating assignments and adaptable to multiple ICU and Telemetry settings.
