Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care throughout the childbirth process, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages.
• Perform specialized duties such as circulating during normal spontaneous vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-risk deliveries are managed safely.
• Flexibility to float to UCLA Santa Monica Hospital Perinatal unit as required, maintaining quality care standards.
• Implement and manage complex obstetric and neonatal procedures, ensuring patient safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic Charting System.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS, NRP certifications; ACLS and AWHONN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery in a high-risk facility with couplet care expertise.
• Experience in an academic setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in managing complex obstetric situations including high-risk antepartum and neonatal care.
• Competency in using external and internal fetal monitoring and other specialized medical equipment.
• Commitment to upholding patient safety standards and collaborative team practices.
