Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert patient care in labor and delivery settings, including conducting sterile vaginal exams independently.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with AWHONN standards and facility policies.
• Float between labor and delivery and mother-baby units as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC systems.
• Participate in shift rotations, including weekends, to meet unit requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and valid California RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Strong ability to perform sterile vaginal exams without supervision.
• Proven experience with EPIC or other charting systems.
• Willingness to work weekends and float between units.
