Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, L&D to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and medical history in the Epic charting system, ensuring accurate records.
• Support obstetrical patients during triage, labor, delivery, and post-partum stages, adhering to AWHONN guidelines.
• Administer medications and provide interventions in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Maintain and utilize special equipment such as intrauterine pressure catheters and central lines effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in ongoing patient care planning.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license to practice in California.
• Minimum of 2 years of L&D experience; experience in high-risk antepartum preferred.
• Certifications in ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP required; AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
• Flexibility to float between like units as needed.
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
