Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Interventional Radiology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Start IVs for MRI & CT procedures and perform POCT testing for outpatients.
• Check patients' medications, vital signs, lab results, and history to ensure safe procedures.
• Respond to IV infiltrations, contrast reactions, patient falls, and safety events.
• Focus on safety when working with the MRI magnet, adhering to MRI Full Stop training requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold patient care standards.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with preference for Diagnostic Imaging Radiology or progressive care background.
• BSN preferred and valid VA or compact state nursing license at the time of submittal.
• EPIC charting experience required, with the ability to complete VCU-modules during orientation.
• BLSSkills certification required.
• Able to handle floating within the scope as needed, ensuring patient care continuity.
• Experience with CT and MRI procedures, with a focus on teamwork and patient safety.
