Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Ensure all necessary surgical equipment and instruments are available and functioning.
- Administer medication and monitor patient vital signs during operations.
- Assist the surgical team in maintaining a sterile environment to prevent infection.
- Document patient status and surgical event details accurately and promptly.
- Provide post-operative care and patient education for recovery at home.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
- At least 1 year of operating room experience required.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and stay composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
