Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to laboring patients, including monitoring vital signs and fetal heart rates.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive maternal care.
- Perform cervical exams and manage labor progress.
- Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
- Prepare and assist with cesarean sections and recovery processes.
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech and Centricity systems.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- Completion of at least one travel nursing contract preferred.
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility.
- Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems such as Meditech.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
