Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform proctored Dysrhythmia Test on day one onsite, ensuring accurate results.
• Provide acute care for patients in a 28-bed emergency department with 4 fast track and 2 trauma bays.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including attending charge nurse and EMTs for optimal patient care.
• Implement and monitor patient telemetry systems and document in Cerner EMR.
• Adhere to nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 while managing patients with diverse diagnoses such as trauma, stroke, and psych emergencies.
• Participate in every other weekend rotation and holiday scheduling as part of the hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with experience in a Level II Trauma emergency room.
• Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience; travel experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
• Proven experience in high-volume, high-acuity emergency departments.
• Ability to lead and enhance teamwork in a dynamic ER setting.
• Completion of floor-specific orientation within 2-3 shifts, adaptable to self-scheduling environment.
