Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cardiac Sonographer to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac diagnostic tests accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare providers for the interpretation of study results.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during imaging procedures.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions as needed.
- Document and communicate procedure findings to healthcare team professionals timely.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards for patient care and safety.
Qualifications
- Valid BLS certification required.
- Certified Sonographer/Vascular Tech with verification of credentials.
- Proficient in performing pediatric echocardiography.
- Previous experience in cardiac imaging in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to occasionally participate in evening or weekend rotations.
