Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is hiring experienced Home Health LPNs (1+ year in a Medicare-certified agency) for contracts in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and nearby areas.
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of assignment
- Current BLS certification
- 1+ year of recent experience (within 3 years) in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing
- Skilled in wound care, injections, med administration, and vitals under RN supervision
- Familiar with OASIS-E functional domains
- Clear background check, abuse registry, and driving record
- Health clearance with TB and required immunizations
- Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
- Willing to travel within the assigned area and adapt to patient needs
Home Health Nurse Contract Details:
- $1,496 - $1,650 per week*
- 13-week contract
- SHC Home Health Nurses are paid by the hour, not by the visit
- Visits typically last 30 to 60 minutes depending on the care plan.
- LPNs are expected to conduct 6–8 visits per day based on task complexity and travel requirements.
- Travel time is incorporated into productivity planning and may vary based on geographic spread.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing services under the direction and supervision of an RN.
- Monitor patient status and immediately report changes to the supervising RN or physician.
- Accurately document all care provided in compliance with agency policies and state nurse practice acts.
