Description

CT Technologist Unit Profile Facility: AO Fox Hospital Department: Radiology Location: Oneonta, NY General Information  Patient Volume: Varies based on the day and ER activity; typically slower overnight.  Imaging Equipment: GE Revolution Max CT scanner and GE X-ray.  Additional Modalities: None noted beyond CT and X-ray.  Patient Population: Primarily Emergency Department and inpatient during the requested shift.  Average Scans per Shift: Approximately 8–10 per technologist. Shift & Scheduling  Shifts Covered: Evenings and overnights.  Sta􀆯ing per Shift: 2 technologists in the evenings; 1 technologist overnight.  On-Call Requirements: None.  On-Call Room Availability: N/A (no call required). Clinical Scope  Common Scan Types: Emergency, trauma, and neuro studies.  Contrast Studies: Yes – contrast exams are performed; techs are responsible for initiating and monitoring as applicable. Certifications & Credentials  Required Certifications: o ARRT (R)(CT) o BLS o New York State Radiologic Technologist License
