Description

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Weymouth, MA who is currently seeking a qualified L&D RN to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

Position: L&D Nurse

Description: The labor and delivery nurse works with Mothers during the final stages of pregnancy helping with birthing, monitoring the Mother’s vital signs, and becoming astute in signs and symptoms of possible complications. The labor and delivery nurse is involved in patient education and addressing the psychosocial needs of Mothers after delivery and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

3x12 (Nights 7p-7a)

Requirements:

BLS, ACLS, NRP, recent EFM at least intermediate required Preferred Certifications (not required): (Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics). Perinatal NCC Certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing - Level I and Postpartum or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing - Labor and birth). First Latch (breastfeeding certification)
