One Emergency Room RN is needed for a 13-week NOC assignment supporting high-acuity emergency care. This role requires 5+ years of ED experience, Trauma Level I background, and full-scope patient care capability including ADLs, blood draws, and labs. Cerner experience is required. Interview conducted by BDM.

Assignment Details

• Interview: Yes — BDM conducts interview and sends transcript to ED Manager

• Shift Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across all age groups

• Perform rapid assessments and initiate evidence-based interventions

• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy

• Perform full patient care including ADLs, blood draws, and labs

• Document care accurately in Cerner

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Support trauma-level emergencies and rapid-response situations

Required Experience & Certifications

• 5+ years recent ED experience

• Trauma Level I experience

• Active CA RN license (no hits)

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS

• Cerner charting experience

• Must be able to perform total patient care

Facility Details

• Orientation: Every other Wednesday

  • Staff work two day-shift shifts during orientation week

  • Orientation week = Week 0 (not part of 13-week contract)

• File Due Date: 09/09 (one week before start)

• No pushed starts allowed

• First Day Instructions: Use “SJGH Nursing FDI” template

• Dress Code: Any color scrubs except orange or white

• Timekeeping: MaxView Timeclock

• Additional Notes: Full-service acute care environment with emergency, trauma, surgery, OB, pediatrics, NICU, and chronic disease management. Nearby housing: Manteca, Lodi, Galt, Modesto.

Compensation

Travel RN – 36 Hours

Weekly Pay Package: $2,828/week Hourly Pay: $33/hr Meals Stipend: $518/week Housing Stipend: $924/week

Travel RN – 48 Hours

Weekly Pay Package: $3,682/week Hourly Pay: $40/hr Meals Stipend: $518/week Housing Stipend: $924/week

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements    
• Must be at least 18 years of age
