Position: CT/X-Ray Tech

We are seeking a detail-oriented CT/X-Ray Tech to join our radiology/cardiology team for night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to utilize their expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Shift: Night 4x10-Hour (22:00 - 08:00, Monday – Thursday)
• Patient Ratios:
  • Days: 1:4
  • Nights: 1:1
  • Weekends: 1:1
• Weekend Requirement: Rotating to cover vacations
• Float Requirement: Yes

Experience & Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years
• Certifications:
  • ARRT CT (preferred)
  • ARRT R
  • BLS
  • IV Certified
• Charting System: Experience with EPIC required
• Travel Experience: Not required, first-time travelers accepted
• Local Candidates: Welcome (within a 50-mile radius)

Essential Skills

• Proficient in the following imaging techniques:
  • Abdomen and Pelvis
    • Abdomen without and/or with contrast
    • Pelvis without and/or with contrast
  • Chest
    • Chest without and/or with contrast
    • Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
  • Head and Neck
    • Carotid
    • Head without and/or with contrast
    • Sinuses
    • Soft tissue neck
    • Trauma head
• Image Display and Post-Processing:
  • 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering)
  • Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
  • Region of interest measurement (ROI)
• Professional Knowledge and Skills:
  • Isolation Precautions/PPE
  • Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
  • Radiation Safety
  • Starting Peripheral IVs

Patient Demographics

Ability to work with diverse patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
