Position: CT/Xray Tech

Location: City, State

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (10:00 AM - 6:30 PM)

Job Description:

This position requires a combination of X-Ray and CT Technologist responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing a variety of imaging procedures in both emergency and outpatient settings. The role demands strong technical expertise, excellent patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT examinations including routine and advanced imaging of the Head, Chest, Abdomen/Pelvis, and vascular studies.
• Perform X-Ray procedures on various body parts such as Extremities, Abdomen, Spine/Pelvis, Head, and Chest.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed.
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, including PACS and Siemens machines.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff to provide high-quality care in Adult Acute Care and Emergency Department settings.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: ARRT Advanced Certification, ARRT CT, and ARRT R.
• Required: BLS certification and IV certification on NY license.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience, with strong preference for those with at least 1 year of focused CT experience.

Skills:

• Experience in performing and interpreting Abdomen and Pelvis imaging exams.
• Capability in handling emergency cases and acute care settings.
• Experience with portables and general X-Ray procedures.
• Knowledge of patient care across various age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Work Setting Experience:

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in Community Hospitals.

Patient Demographics:

The successful candidate will work with a diverse patient population, primarily those presenting in the Emergency Department and inpatients, as well as some outpatient exams during the day.

Additional Information:

Applicants should be prepared to work in a dual role that requires expertise in both X-Ray and CT modalities. RTO parameters must be approved by the manager.
