Position Details

We are seeking a Multispecialty Ultrasound Technician specializing in Vascular and General Ultrasound. This role requires proficiency in various ultrasound modalities and will involve working in diverse settings, including high-risk obstetrics, pediatrics, and adult care environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasounds including general, fetal, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, and echocardiograms.
• Assist with precepting clinicians as needed.
• Utilize the necessary charting system, specifically Epic.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, adhering to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including radiology staff, to ensure quality patient care.

Shift Information

Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Call Requirement: Yes, from 5 PM - 8 AM Monday through Friday and 24 hours on weekends.

Experience & Certifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology. The following certifications are preferred:

• ARDMS
• ARDMS RVT
• BLS
• CCI or RDCS

Preferred Skills

• Experience in OB/GYN Ultrasound (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester)
• Skills in neonatal and pediatric ultrasound
• Familiarity with vascular studies, including Aorta, Carotid, Duplex, and Doppler studies
• Experience with M-Mode and upper/lower extremity vascular studies

Equipment Knowledge

• Proficient with GE ultrasound machines
• Familiarity with PACS

Patient Care

Responsible for the care of diverse patient populations, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics.
