We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. This position is crucial in providing high-quality imaging services using advanced computed tomography technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CT procedures and a commitment to patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography scans on patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
• Utilize Siemens and GE CT equipment effectively to meet diagnostic needs.
• Administer power injections for contrast-enhanced imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, including patient histories and scan results, using EPIC as the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in holiday rotations, working 1-2 of the designated holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 36 months of experience in Computed Tomography.
• Proficient experience using Siemens CT equipment is required; GE CT experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide imaging services to patients of all age groups.
• Experience with power injection contrast injectors is essential.
• Active Iowa radiology license is highly preferred; candidates with pending licensure will be considered.
• Recent experience in Level I trauma settings is preferred, while Level II trauma experience is required.
• Demonstrated capability in stroke imaging is essential.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• ARRT certification is required.

Working Conditions

This position will require some degree of floating across facilities within the region. Candidates should be prepared for a variety of patient encounters and diverse imaging needs.
