Job Description

The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in assisting the circulator and surgeon during surgical procedures. This position involves performing a wide variety of tasks to ensure the well-being of surgical patients while maintaining a safe and sterile environment at all times, as directed by qualified operating room personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in preparing for surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout operations.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with the circulator and surgeon to ensure optimal patient care.

Shift Information

This position is a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) role with day shifts available. Shifts can be structured as 8-hour or 10-hour schedules. Holiday coverage is not required.

Experience Requirements

Less than 1 year of experience is required for this position.

On-Call Requirements

The position includes an on-call component, with one weeknight call per week and weekend call every fifth weekend.
