Job Description:

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of computed tomography procedures. The role requires independent judgment and the application of established techniques for accurate diagnosis. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing routine diagnostic procedures with the ability to complete all necessary tasks.
• Obtaining intravenous access as required for procedures.
• Prioritizing and organizing daily workflow effectively.
• Exhibiting excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Utilizing basic computer skills for data management and reporting.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in CT/PET.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
• Current New York State license and ARRT (CT) certification are required.
• Experience with contrast injection is essential.
• Previous or current travel experience is strongly encouraged.
• Experience with GE scanners is preferred.
• Candidates must have their own vehicle.

Compliance and Training:

All new and returning agency staff must complete mandatory training from approved groups for onboarding and clearance. Please ensure compliance with all medical and vaccination requirements before submission.

Work Environment:

Personal scrubs of any color are required, with restrictions against designs or cartoons. Hoodies are not allowed. There is an 8-hour non-billable orientation period.

The facility may cancel up to 5 shifts during a 13-week contract with at least 2 hours of notice provided.
