Shift Information

Training will be conducted during the day shifts. The position requires working four nights one week and three nights the next week (Wednesday to Saturday/Thursday to Saturday) from 1930 to 0700. There is no call required for this position.

Minimum Experience Required

2 years of experience is required.

Certifications and Requirements

• General Certifications: BLS/BCLS
• Allied Health Certifications: ARRT(R), ARRT(CT)
• Other Certifications: NMTCB, CNMT, RVT

Join a dynamic healthcare environment where quality patient care is paramount. We are seeking a CT Technologist—Radiologic Technologist to deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging services.

Essential Job Duties

• Provide quality patient care while performing radiographic and CT procedures as ordered by physicians, taking into account the specific needs of patients, including pregnancy, trauma, and the elderly.
• Perform quality radiographic exams by:
  • Determining appropriate techniques through voltage, current, and exposure time to minimize patient and staff exposure while ensuring quality diagnostic images.
  • Properly positioning patients for optimum imaging.
  • Implementing shielding measures to ensure safety from radiation exposure.
• Conduct quality CT exams by:
  • Determining protocols according to physician orders and radiologist guidelines.
  • Adhering to ALARA principles for both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Ensuring proper patient positioning for optimal imaging results.
• Maintain sterile techniques and cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination.
• Transport patients to and from the department and assist them from beds or gurneys to exam tables.
• Ensure that required consent forms are signed prior to examinations, and obtain necessary patient histories.
• Document reactions and histories for all patients and communicate any allergies to the physician.
• Perform radiographic procedures in various settings, including operating rooms and emergency rooms, using portable equipment efficiently and safely.

Education and Experience

Candidates must have graduated from an approved ARRT program and possess current registration by the ARRT (R)(CT) or an equivalent credential. A minimum of 2 years of CT experience is required.
