Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Shift Notes

• Monday - Thursday: 9:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• 40 hours per week
• Holiday rotation - may require floating across multiple locations

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Computed Tomography (CT) and provide high-quality imaging services. This position involves direct patient interaction and requires proficiency with Siemens and GE CT equipment, as well as experience with various patient demographics.

Unit Information

• Equipment: Siemens CT & GE CT
• Patient Types: All ages
• Contrast Administration: Power injection contrast injections
• Scrubs: Charcoal Gray

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of experience in CT/Computed Tomography (hospital or medical center experience is prioritized)
• Proficient in using Siemens CT equipment (required)
• Experience with GE CT equipment (preferred)
• Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system (required)
• Ability to work with all age groups (required)
• ARRT (CT) certification (required)
• Experience with contrast administration (required)
• Experience with power injection contrast injector (preferred)
• Active Iowa radiology license (highly preferred, licensing candidates considered)
• Recent experience in Level I trauma settings (highly preferred)
• Level II trauma experience (highly preferred)
• Level III trauma experience (required)
• Recent experience with stroke imaging (required)

Certification Requirements

• BLS - Basic Life Support
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification

Additional Information

Candidates must be able to start on the designated orientation dates and may be required to work during upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed. This role will involve floating across multiple locations within the region as necessary.
