Registered Nurse (RN) - Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, MA

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years current Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience required
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NRP
  • BLS (AHA)
    All certifications must be current and included with profile submission
• State License: Massachusetts RN license required
• Technical Skills: Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Other: Must have own vehicle for assignment

Scheduling and Work Conditions

• Holiday Coverage: Travelers are required to work at least two of the following holiday periods:

  • Thanksgiving and the Friday/weekend after
  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the Friday/weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the Friday/weekend after
• Time Off Requests:

  • No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during assignment
  • All RTO must be submitted and approved at time of profile submission; no changes allowed after offer
• Interview Availability: Must provide at least two specific interview dates/times (no vague availability such as "anytime")
• Residency Restriction: Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable orientation required
• COVID-19 Vaccination: COVID vaccination (dose date on or after 10/3/23) required or approved exemption with mask-wearing on site

Submission Requirements

• Include Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License with profile
• Include permanent address with profile upload
• Include ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications with profile
• Include work history, skills checklist (updated within 1 year), and one supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years
• Scheduling requests and any time off must be finalized at submission; no changes after offer
• Facility will not pend or delay offer based on missing documentation or scheduling requests
