Job Opportunity: RN Telemetry I

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 36 hours per week, nights
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:15 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays

Professional Credentials

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state (Required for submission)
• 2 recent references (minimum 1 supervisor or above in skillset) (Required for submission)
• Skills checklist (Required for submission)
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form (Required for onboarding)
• Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start and updated if >6 month break
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start and updated if >6 month break
• Education verification of highest level achieved (Required for onboarding)
• SSN Trace covering last 7 years (Required for onboarding)
• National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start and updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid) within 30 days of start and annually

Health and Immunization Requirements

• MMR: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine OR two MMR vaccines OR proof of immunity via blood test
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30); no exemptions allowed
• TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date; updated if >6 month break
• Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date; updated if >6 month break
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)
• Hepatitis B vaccine or proof of immunity (Strongly preferred)
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years (Preferred)
• Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation (Optional)

Additional Notes

• Orientation: Completion of self-study orientation and attestation required before onboarding
• Background checks and credential verifications must be current and compliant with facility policies
• Flu vaccine documentation must be uploaded as PDF; no religious or medical exemptions allowed
