Description

Emergency Department Nurse - Travel Contract

Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years nursing experience required
    • Level 1 trauma experience required
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA certifications required
    • Valid MA nursing license required
  • Skills:
    • Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience required
  • Schedule:
    • 12-hour night shifts
    • Every other weekend required
    • 2 holiday shifts required
    • Excessive time off, especially around holidays, will not be considered
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must be separated from this hospital system for at least 6 months (including permanent, per diem, or contract roles)
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

  • Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department
  • 44 beds in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility
  • Features include:
    • Imaging suite
    • Pharmacy
    • Fast-track area
    • Behavioral health suite
    • Private treatment rooms
    • Family waiting and consultation rooms
  • Utilizes complete computerized charting with Epic for patient care documentation and medication administration

Notes

  • Contract guarantees 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
  • Candidates should be prepared for manager communication via email and check emails consistently
