Description
ICU Float Pool Nurse (Travel Assignment)
Location: Not specified
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- ICU Float Pool position, able to work in both ICU and PCU units
- 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), 36 hours per week (every other weekend)
- Contract guarantee: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
Requirements
- Experience: 2-5 years of ICU experience required
- Trauma Level I facility experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience may be considered
- Prior travel experience preferred (not required)
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Current MA RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Telemetry test on first day (pass/fail; failure may result in termination)
- Must be separated from this hospital system for 6+ months (including permanent, per diem, or travel roles)
- Facility is not accepting local candidates
Notes for Candidates
- Must be flexible to float between ICU and PCU as needed
- Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory
- This is a travel contract with a 13-week duration
