Travel RN - PCU (Progressive Care Unit)

Location: Aurora, Colorado

Unit Information

Unit: PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
Number of Beds: 345
Staff Float Pool: Approximately 80
Shifts:
- Day Shift: RNs and CNAs on most units
- Night Shift: RNs and CNAs on most units
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5 (varies between units and shifts)
Equipment: Various medical equipment
EMR System: Meditech

Required Certifications & Licenses

Registered Nurse License
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIH Certification

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in Telemetry nursing (strong Telemetry experience required)
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Preferred Qualifications

Chemo Certification (preferred, for potential scheduling on Oncology unit)

Typical Procedures & Patient Population

Care for a large cardiac patient population
Work on 2 Telemetry floors and the PCU
Floating to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units

Flexibility and willingness to float between units is essential
