Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with case management experience for inpatient hospital units. The role involves discharge planning, performing Interqual reviews, and managing post-acute referrals in a hospital setting.

Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Case Management
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting (highest required)
• Licenses: Must have a Virginia RN license or Compact License at submission
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Midas, NaviHealth, and Meditech EMR systems
• Experience with DC (discharge) planning and performing Interqual reviews
• Preferred: Observation management and LTSS screening using VA DMAS website
• Must have EMT or Case Management software experience

Unit Information

• Inpatient hospital units with 500+ licensed beds
• Staff size: 21 full-time employees
• Patient ratios: 1:16-20
• Shift: Day shift, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (or until work completed)
• Floating areas include ICU, PCU, and Med Surg

• No on-call duties; weekend coverage is optional
