Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Saratoga Springs, New York
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Sunday through Wednesday: 9 PM – 7 AM

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT) certification

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
• National Tech Certification as applicable
• Successful completion of advanced EKG/ECG competency testing within 72 hours of contract start (90% passing score required; 3 attempts allowed)

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start date
• Negative TB test (2-step PPD or Quantiferon Gold within 1 year) or chest X-ray if prior positive PPD
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• 10 Panel Drug Screen within 60 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required by December 5th, 2024
• Color vision test (Ishihara’s test) prior to start
• Fit mask testing (N95 OSHA questionnaire and fit test)

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background checks including 7-year search, nationwide, sex offender registry, and state-specific searches
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and competency modules prior to start
• Completion of medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training (New York State requirement for RNs and LPNs)
• Lift assessment (typically 25 lbs, may vary by position)

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Two professional references recommended for travel/allied/per diem acute care roles.

This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists licensed in New York who are comfortable working night shifts and have experience with Siemens and GE imaging equipment.
