Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• On-Call: 7 on-call nights per month (including one weekend: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, plus 4 other nights)
• Unit: Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab with 2 rooms
• Procedures: PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implant, ablations, etc.
• Patient Population: Adult
• EMR System: EPIC - Cupid
• Floating: Not required

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 4+ years of RN experience
• Experience in Cath/EP Lab, interventional cardiac procedures, and scrub skills

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• AHA ACLS Certification (only AHA accepted, no Red Cross for this facility)
• BLS Certification (AHA only accepted)

Additional Required Credentials & Compliance

• N95 Fit Test (within 365 days of start date, updated annually)
• MGB Medication Exam (80% passing within 365 days)
• MGB Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam (80% passing)
• MMR Vaccination or proof of immunity
• Influenza Vaccine (required during flu season, no exemptions)
• TB Test (skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break)
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA (within 365 days)
• Criminal Background Check and Massachusetts CORI (within 45 days prior to start)
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)
• Two professional references within 4 years (minimum one supervisor)
• Skills Checklist (completed within 1 year)
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form (required for initial assignments and extensions)
• Education Verification (highest level achieved)
• SSN Trace (past 7 years addresses/employment/school)
• National Sex Offender Check (within 30 days of start and annually)
• Exclusion Checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid lists)
