Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Saratoga Springs, New York
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Start or end time may vary by 30 minutes.
• Work involves CT technology with a focus on Radiology/Cardiology.
• Experience with Siemens and GE equipment is required.
• Familiarity with PACS and EPIC systems is necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid New York Radiology license.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• IV certification preferred.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred.
• Must pass advanced EKG/ECG competency testing within 72 hours of contract start.
• Color vision testing (Ishihara’s test) required prior to start.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start.
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required prior to start.
• Completion of medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable.

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID.
• Background checks including 7-year history, sex offender registry, and state-specific searches.
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and competency modules prior to start.
• Completion of child abuse mandatory reporter training if applicable.
• Photo for badge (passport-style, plain background).
• Lift assessment (typically 25 lbs, may vary by position).
• Fit testing for N95 mask (3M 1870 quantitative test required).
• References: 2 professional references for travel/allied/per diem acute care roles.
