Description

Registered Nurse - Case Management

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Join a highly recognized hospital known for clinical excellence and patient safety. This role is within a large facility with 815 beds, serving as a regional referral center with specialized trauma, stroke, neonatal intensive care, pediatric subspecialists, robotic surgery, and cardiac care programs.


Unit Information

  • Patient Ratios: 1:40
  • Scheduling: Self-schedule
  • Floating Policy: As needed
  • Documentation Systems: Cerner, Nate, EnsoCare (post-acute systems)
  • Dress Code: Business attire
  • Team Environment: Supportive leadership and great teamwork

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum 2 years of Case Management experience, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to shift attention between tasks effectively
  • Ability to build trust with team members, patients, and families
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the RN Case Manager
