Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (CT/Xray tech)
• Shift: 4x10, 10 PM - 8 AM, Monday – Thursday
• Weekend: Blocked schedule required
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• Charting System: EPIC required
• Certifications Required: BLS and ARRT(R)(CT)
• State License: Must have state license prior to start (submission without license allowed, but license must be obtained before starting)
• First Time Traveler: Accepted
• Local Candidates: Accepted within a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT/Xray (CT Tech) technician within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT (CT) certification

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, SSN trace, national criminal, sex offender, education verification, and eligibility to work in the U.S.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 3 months of start and updated monthly
• Foreign education equivalency evaluation if applicable
• Education verification from primary source required
• Primary source verification of state license within 30 days of start
• Various certifications as required by unit description (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM) may be required depending on assignment
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as required
• Photo for badge (passport-style with solid background)

Health and Safety Requirements

Candidates must complete the following health-related requirements and lab work within 5 days of signing the contract:

• Physical exam (within 1 year, updated annually)
• Fit mask test (within 1 year, updated annually)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 1 year)
• TB questionnaire (in lieu of annual TB test renewal)
• Immunizations or proof of immunity for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Drug screening within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season
• Snellen eye exam (within 1 year)
• COVID vaccination copy preferred but not required

Additional Notes

• References: 2 references within 3 years required for certain candidates
• Employment application and skills checklist required
• Work history verification required (at least 2 past employments)
• Some state-specific documents and checks may be required depending on assignment area
