Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Weston, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks

Schedule

• Saturday to Monday, 7 PM to 7 AM
• On-call up to 2 days per month

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Siemens equipment experience

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG (updated as required)
• National certification verification within 30 days of start
• Primary source verification of Florida Radiographer license within 30 days of start
• Competency exam as applicable to specialty
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual updates required)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination: 2 doses Pfizer or Moderna OR 1 dose Johnson & Johnson required (no declinations allowed; exemptions require agency approval and documentation)
• References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
• Employment application and skills checklist (updated annually)
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint results

Additional Notes

• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Facility will issue radiation badges to applicable candidates
• Online training modules and facility-specific onboarding must be completed prior to start (including COVID exemption forms if applicable)

Summary

This is a 16-week travel contract for a CT Tech with a minimum of 3 years of experience, Siemens equipment expertise, and required certifications/licenses in Florida. The position includes night shifts on weekends with limited on-call duties. Comprehensive documentation, immunizations, and background checks are mandatory prior to starting.
