Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Mount Kisco, New York
Employment Type: Contract Clinician
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for patient safety and performing high-quality CT imaging studies. This role includes effective communication with radiologists and other customers, troubleshooting imaging equipment, and occasionally training new technologists or patient coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections.
• Use aseptic injection techniques for contrast administration.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Train new technologists and/or patient coordinators as needed.
• Troubleshoot CT scanners and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, etc.).

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Valid New York Radiology Technologist license required.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to perform IV injections required.
• Valid state driver's license may be required due to local travel.
