Description
Registered Nurse - Endoscopy
Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM (40 hours/week, 4x10-hour shifts, variable start times)
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in Endoscopy and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings.
- Experience and knowledge of the EPIC electronic health record platform required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 1 year of Endoscopy experience, with experience within the last year.
- Experience in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity (strongly preferred).
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years (preferred).
Additional Requirements
- Submission of a detailed resume including 7 years of work experience with city and state.
- Completion of candidate submission coversheet for initial assignment.
- Confirmation of assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for any extensions.
- Name change documentation if legal name differs from credential documentation.
Notes
- No prior travel experience explicitly required.
- All credential verifications and health requirements must be current and compliant with facility policies.
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing.
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start date.
This position offers a structured 4-day workweek with variable start times, focusing on Endoscopy nursing care with integration of EPIC system knowledge.
