Description

CT Tech Travel Position - Florida

Location

City: Davie, Florida

Employment Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Approximately 36 hours per week
Day and night shifts covered by one tech each

Unit Information

Unit type: CT and X-ray
Number of beds: 11
Staff: 1 tech covering both CT and X-ray
Equipment: GE imaging systems
Documentation system: Meditech
Call requirements: None

Typical Procedures

CT exams: head, chest, abdomen and pelvis, pulmonary embolism (PE), stroke
X-ray exams: chest, abdomen, extremities, spine, head

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT Certification
Radiology Tech License for both CT and X-ray
BLS certification
Experience as an X-Ray Technician
