Job Description

• Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures.
• Work primarily during night shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York.
• ARRT certification in CT.
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, with experience within the last year.

Experience

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (CT)

Background and Screening Requirements

• Criminal background check covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years, including all aliases.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, Social Security Verification, Sex Offender Search, OFAC Sanctions List Search, FBI Wanted Person List, and FBI Terrorist Watch List checks within 60 days prior to start.
• Education verification with primary source verification for all formal education listed.
• 20-year employment application and work history verification required, with all gaps accounted for.
• Two professional references within 2 years of start date.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start, including vital signs, review of systems, medical history, and clearance to work without restrictions.
• Fit mask test (N95) within 1 year prior to start; must be completed before start (PAPR not accepted).
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray as per options outlined, within required timeframes.
• Annual TB questionnaire completion.
• Immunizations/vaccine records required:

  • Measles (Rubeola) – 2 vaccinations or positive IgG titer; boosters if low titer.
  • Mumps – 2 vaccinations or positive IgG titer; boosters if low titer.
  • Rubella – 2 vaccinations or positive IgG titer; boosters if low titer.
  • Varicella – positive titer or 2 vaccines; boosters if low titer.
  • Hepatitis B – antibody and antigen titers or vaccine series with declination form within 6 months of start.
  • Hepatitis C titer within 6 months; treatment documentation if positive.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Sept 3 – May 31), with exemptions requiring approval.
• Negative 9-panel drug screen with chain of custody within 60 days prior to start (no marijuana testing).
• Vision screening (Snellen) within 12 months of start; corrective lenses noted if needed.
• Color blindness testing if failed online exam twice (Ishihara test with MD signature required).

Training and Compliance

• Completion of orientation safety manual acknowledgment annually.
• Completion of facility-specific orientation checklist onsite prior to start.
• Completion of required prestart and annual training modules as assigned.
• Completion of EPIC learning modules if applicable.
• Signed confidentiality agreement and staff attestation prior to start.
• Completion of harassment prevention training (note: no longer active requirement).
