Description
Registered Nurse - ER I
Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night
Unit Overview
- Large, high-acuity emergency care unit with 118 beds
- Patient population includes behavioral health, boarding patients, emergency/trauma cases, and critically ill/ICU-level patients
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:6
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) post-orientation
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC
- Strong critical care skills and ability to manage complex, unstable patients
- Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Schedule
- Options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts available at night
