Description
Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work on a 24-bed Medical Cardiology Unit.
- Rotate shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, including every other weekend (EOW).
- Total hours: 36 hours per week.
- Must be able to read telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips.
- Provide post-catheterization care including PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation, TR Band, and femoral approach.
- RN to patient ratio:
- Days: 1:5
- Nights: 1:6
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
- 2+ years of experience with a strong cardiac background
- Cardiology experience
- Ability to perform cardiac drips
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- IRP Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
