Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Atlantis, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiovascular Services - Cath Lab / EP Lab
- Number of Beds: 3 cath rooms and 4 EP rooms
- Shift Schedule: Day shift only, 4 x 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:1
- Equipment: Cath/EP Lab equipment
- Documentation System: MacLab
- Call Requirements: 1 weekend per month plus 7 weekdays (Cath only)
Typical Procedures
- Cardiac Catheterization (diagnostic and PCI)
- Watchman/LAAO procedures
- Electrophysiology studies and Ablation
- Device Implants
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- ARRT or RCIS certification
- RTR License
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
Additional Preferences
- Proficiency in Cath/EP procedures
- Ability to function well independently and adapt to a fast-paced unit
Dress Code
- Surgical scrubs provided (scrub color specified)
