Description

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Atlantis, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours


Unit Information

  • Unit: Cardiovascular Services - Cath Lab / EP Lab
  • Number of Beds: 3 cath rooms and 4 EP rooms
  • Shift Schedule: Day shift only, 4 x 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
  • Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:1
  • Equipment: Cath/EP Lab equipment
  • Documentation System: MacLab
  • Call Requirements: 1 weekend per month plus 7 weekdays (Cath only)

Typical Procedures

  • Cardiac Catheterization (diagnostic and PCI)
  • Watchman/LAAO procedures
  • Electrophysiology studies and Ablation
  • Device Implants

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • ARRT or RCIS certification
    • RTR License
    • Cath Lab Tech Certification

Additional Preferences

  • Proficiency in Cath/EP procedures
  • Ability to function well independently and adapt to a fast-paced unit

Dress Code

  • Surgical scrubs provided (scrub color specified)
