Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (4x9 hours, 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Monday - Thursday)
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description & Requirements

  • Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
  • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ARRT CT Certification
  • Experience working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings

Required Certifications & Licenses

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC certified.
  • ARRT CT Certification required.
  • State license verification required (North Carolina).
  • Education Verification and High School Diploma/GED verification required.
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, and other certifications may be required depending on unit; verify with program management if applicable.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID) required.
  • Social Security Card required for badge issuance.
  • Background check within 60 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in the past 7 years, including aliases and multiple search levels. No open hits allowed.
  • Foreign equivalency education evaluation required if education was obtained outside the U.S.
  • Transcript or diploma required for highest education level.
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start.
  • Immunizations and health documents required:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine proof
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months
    • MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
    • Hepatitis B titer or declination
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
    • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
  • Fit mask test completed within the current calendar year, updated annually (N95 approved types).

Testing & Competencies

  • Pass/fail EPIC test required for clinical and allied candidates (2 attempts allowed).
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for all RNs except Behavioral Health and Case Managers (2 attempts allowed).
  • Medication/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable.
  • Color vision testing required unless non-clinical.
  • Annual skills checklist with a one-week grace period for renewal.

References & Work History

  • Two supervisory references required from clinical assignments:
    • One within 12 months prior to start
    • One within 24 months prior to start
  • Employment application/resume with 7 years of work history required.
  • Verification of all employment within the last 5 years through a third-party vendor required.

Additional Notes

  • Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and aware of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
  • Compliance documents must be completed by 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date.
  • Badge photo must meet strict facility requirements (no selfies, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire, forward-facing).
  • Candidates must review and sign facility-specific policies including floating policy and contractor equipment acknowledgment.
  • Onboarding includes Workday login and multi-factor authentication setup prior to first day.

This position offers a structured night shift schedule with a focus on comprehensive patient age groups and clinical settings, requiring strong technical skills and compliance with rigorous credentialing and health standards.
