CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), rotating call required
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Perform all CT exams and x-ray procedures for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Conduct routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Utilize knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
• EMR system used: Cerner Change Healthcare PACS.
• No floating required.
• Scheduling preference: 5x8 shifts preferred; 4x10 shifts may be accommodated if specified.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• Maximum return to office (RTO) time: 1 week.
• Scrub color: Navy Blue.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
• Current New Mexico state license as a general radiographer
• CT Technologist certification (ARRT registration required)
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school
