Description

Job Opportunity: IMC Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), Monday through Friday, every other weekend and some holidays required
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in Intermediate Care (IMC) Acute Med/Progressive Care and IMC Thoracic units
Patient population includes telemetry oncology, cardiac, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown units
Ventilator and transplant patient care experience required
Telemetry experience required
Must pass a Telemetry test prior to start

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, with experience within the last year
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience in ventilator patient care
Experience in transplant patient care
Experience working in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Experience working in Direct Observation Unit (DOU)
Experience in Intermediate Care (IMC)
Experience in Stepdown units
