Job Opportunity: Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) (Night Shift)

Job Description

• Perform a variety of CT procedures independently, applying prescribed CT techniques for diagnosis.
• Complete all routine diagnostic CT procedures.
• Obtain intravenous access for contrast injections.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with strong oral and written skills.
• Utilize basic computer skills.
• Must have experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Personal scrubs allowed (any color, no designs or cartoons; hoodies not permitted).
• Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable overtime.
• Holiday shift multipliers apply.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience.
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT certification in CT.
• Experience with contrast injections.
• EPIC EMR experience is mandatory.
• Must have own vehicle (firm requirement).
• Ability to pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
• Completion of verbal de-escalation training from one of the approved programs prior to onboarding (e.g., Welle, CPI, or PMCS).
• Must provide:

  • Work history.
  • Skills checklist updated within the past year.
  • Supervisory signed reference from within the last two years.
  • Current licenses and certifications (NYS Rad Tech License, ARRT, BLS).
  • Permanent address matching driver’s license/state ID (certain NY counties excluded from eligibility).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE CT scanners.
• Previous or current travel experience strongly encouraged.

Additional Information

• No block scheduling will be considered.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at profile upload; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed during the contract.
• Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts during the 13-week contract with 2 hours’ notice.
• Candidates from the following New York counties are not eligible for this assignment: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington.
• COVID vaccinations are strongly encouraged but not required.
